We express our deep gratitude to Station Camp for their generous donation of Bibles to both children and teachers at Trey Junior School.
As a Christian faith based organisation, spiritual formation sits alongside academics in everything we do. These Bibles allow pupils to follow along in devotions, take part in scripture memorisation, and carry something of their own home to their families.
We also thank Dear Future for their donation toward storybooks. Reading material is scarce in rural Wakiso, and for many of our pupils these books are the first they have ever owned or borrowed.
The storybooks are already enriching classroom learning. Teachers report stronger reading fluency, wider vocabulary and, most encouraging of all, children choosing to read during their free time.
Gifts like these do more than fill shelves. They tell a child that someone far away thought of them, and that their education is worth investing in.
